Today some children were flying kites on our nearby terrace. We were also enjoying the breeze sitting on the terrace. Then we saw that in the evening, many birds are flying in the sky. Then I told those children to stop flying kites now because many birds are going back to their homes in the sky. But they ignored my words. Shortly after, a pigeon fell in their thread. The pigeon tried hard to extricate himself and as soon as he came out. His balance deteriorated and he fell on a nearby road. Seeing this, we first rebuked those children and then ran away and went to that pigeon. When we went there and saw that the pigeon was covered with blood. Then my sister wrapped her in clothes and then we went to the nearby vet. After going there, the vet took him from us and cleaned him first with hot water,r and then started examining him. Then he told us that there is nothing to panic about. His wings are perfectly fine. Just a little bruise near the feet. Then they stripped him and decided to keep that pigeon wi him. We did not say anything to them, but we were also happy that the pigeon did not get hurt much. Today we were very happy to save the life of that pigeon.

आज हमारी पास की छत पर कुछ बच्चे पतंग उड़ा रहे थे। हम भी छत पर बैठे हुए हवा का मजा ले रहे थे। तभी हमने यह देखा कि शाम होते ही बहुत सारे पक्षी आसमान में इधर-उधर उड़ रहे हैं। फिर मैंने उन बच्चों से कहा कि पतंग उड़ाना अब बंद कर दो क्योंकि अब आसमान में बहुत सारे पक्षी वापस अपने घर जा रहे हैं। पर उन्होंने मेरी बातों को नजरअंदाज कर दिया। थोड़ी ही देर बाद उन के धागे में एक कबूतर फस गया। कबूतर ने खुद को निकालने की बहुत कोशिश करी और जैसे ही वह निकला, उसका संतुलन बिगड़ गया और वह पास ही के रोड पर जाकर गिर गया। यह देखकर पहले तो हमने उन बच्चों को डांटा और फिर भाग कर उस कबूतर के पास चले गए। हमने वहां जाकर देखा तो उस कबूतर के ऊपर खून लगा हुआ था। फिर मेरी बहन ने उसे कपड़े में लपेटा और फिर हम पास ही के पशु चिकित्सक के पास चले गए। वहां जाकर पशु चिकित्सक ने उसे हम से लेकर पहले उसे गर्म पानी से साफ करा और फिर उसकी जांच करने लगे। फिर उन्होंने हमें बताया कि घबराने की कोई बात नहीं है। उसके पंख बिल्कुल ठीक है। बस पैरों के पास थोड़ी सी चोट लगी है। फिर उन्होंने उसकी पट्टी करते हुए उसे अपने पास ही रखने का निर्णय लिया। हमने उनसे कुछ नहीं कहा पर हमें इस बात की भी खुशी थी कि उस कबूतर को ज्यादा चोट नहीं लगी। आज हमें उस कबूतर की जान बचाकर बहुत ही ज्यादा खुशी हुई।
